Very nice little hotel right in the old town We had booked a room for one night while passing through and were very impressed. We received a friendly welcome, we were shown everything we needed for our stay and there was still time for a chat and a recommendation for dinner. The room was bright and spacious and the view of the Elbe was a dream. Breakfast the next morning was also absolutely great and it was an all-round successful stay! Thank you, we'd love to come back. PS: also very important these days ... the hygiene concept is consistently implemented without us feeling restricted!

Fantastic stay in the "Gästehaus Von Herzen" Immediately after arrival there was a super friendly briefing about the house, breakfast, drinks, the surroundings, the parking lot (at the end of the street right at the youth hostel you can get parking cards when registering / briefing), all questions were very nice to me answered ***** GREAT ***** The entire team in the house was so hospitable and courteous as you can rarely experience it. I really liked the area, the direct location on the Elbe, the view of the sunrise from the outside terrace, the city of Lauenburg, the whole area. The breakfast was fantastic, the warm preparation was more than obvious. The Corona rules were observed by the entire staff. The tables were set for the breakfast guests when the respective guests were there ***** my full award ***** There is a bicycle room in the house where the bicycles can be safely parked. Great location, uncomplicated arrival, I have made several very nice bike tours on the Elbe myself, I really liked the city of Lauenburg, restaurants and shops are all easily accessible.

Very nice cafe. Very suitable for breakfast or for a café and cake. The seats at the window guarantee a very nice view of the Elbe. I didn't try the breakfast, but it looked very, very good. The coffee and cake was very good. We sat outside on the terrace and had a cup of coffee and a piece of cheesecake to look at the Elbe and watch a few animals. To recommend. By the way, the location of the café is wonderfully situated in the old town and you can experience a great historical walk there.

Nice shop with nice things that please the heart. And a café with a breathtaking view of the Elbe. Just as ingenious as the unique specialty "Lauenburger Torte".

Whoever visits Lauenburg should take the time to visit this shop. Here you can browse nicely. Maritime decorations, small gifts or souvenirs from beautiful Lauenburg on the Elbe. Furthermore there is the possibility to have a wonderful breakfast or to enjoy the afternoon coffee ☕ on the outside terrace. Everything is very clean and nicely furnished.

Very nice restaurant, which is located directly on the Elbe and if you are lucky enough to get a window seat, where there is coffee and cake also breakfast in different sizes. There are also warm delicacies. In summer you can sit outside on the terrace to sit and enjoy the view. Sometimes it is quite crowded here and you have to wait for a seat. It is advisable to reserve a seat. The staff is nice and friendly.

A great place in historic Lauenburg. We stayed here for a short break and loved it. All rooms are lovingly furnished and we especially enjoyed breakfast to the full. There is also the possibility to cook a little something and to use the common room and the terrace. The staff were all very nice. Thanks to the team ❤️

We can only recommend the café from the heart, no ifs or buts! With a view of the Elbe and an integrated shop where you can buy beautiful, high-quality items, with beautiful sayings and great design, many things are perfect as gifts for dear people in life. The breakfast was rich and tasty, there is a vegetarian option in addition to hearty fish and meat. Inexpensive. We were greeted and served really nice and warmly. We will be back!

Very nice little hotel garni. The rooms are nice, with a great view over the Elbe. The breakfast was enriched on a cake stand and was good and plentiful. The adjoining cafe is open until 6 p.m. In the evening you can help yourself with drinks and sit on the terrace.

Such a wonderful piece of earth. Seldom have seen such a beautiful cafe. It is so lovingly designed and the small shop in the front area is the "I" icing on the cake. The terrace directly on the Elbe was the total highlight. The staff is very friendly and we liked the menu very much.

We went to the café for the birthday breakfast with the family and we really enjoyed it. The view of the Elbe is incredible and you have the feeling of sitting on a ship. The breakfast was very good and lovingly and attractively arranged on the cake stands. We had the "The Vegetarian Cheese Breakfast" and the "The Hearty Sausage Breakfast". In addition coffee, cocoa and orange juice. Everything very recommendable. The team from the heart was also very friendly and attentive. Every day could start like this :-)

What a wonderful surprise. A simply furnished Café-Restaurant with the Elbe flowing by. The owner loves to cook, and you can taste it. Whether a lentil soup or meatloaf and brussel sprouts. And a real Italian coffee machine. Highly recommended 😊

We felt very comfortable. The cake is awesome. Not too sweet, you can taste the fruit. The view is great. And the service was very nice despite the full house. We took the time to enjoy this place. You always find a souvenir, very nice things. And after the cake you can have a nice walk.

A shop for souvenirs, a restaurant and a cafe all in one. We just had coffee there, but we enjoyed having it on their private terras with a great view on the Elbe river.
